The people of the Parish of Alberton-O'Leary help one another and the people in our community. Call on us if you need help. We are all neighbours in God's eyes. As a Christian community we strive to live out our baptismal covenant of proclaiming by word and example the good news of God in Christ, seeking and serving Christ in all persons, loving neighbour as self, and working for justice, peace and dignity amoung all people. This we do, with God’s help.

It's the season for annual meetings in the church. First we start with each of our Parish's four churches having separate annual meetings where Warden and Treasurer Reports are presented. Christ Church Kildare Capes held their annual meeting yesterday; St. Peter's Alberton is on Satruday, January 16th at 10am in St. Peter's Hall followed by Holy Trinity Alma's at 11:30am in St. Peter's Hall; and St. Luke's O'Leary holds their annual meeting on Sunday, January 17th following their morning service.
Our Parish's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, February 7th at 1pm in St. Luke's Hall. The meeting is preceded with a combined Parish service and potluck lunch. This will be Rev. Andrew's final AGM in our Parish as he and Janet are moving to a new parish, the Parishes of Musquodoboit and Ship Harbour, Nova Scotia in March 2016.
