Cemetery Clean up – St. Peter's parishioners have started a major cleanup under the pine trees at the entrance to the cemetery. In order to keep our cemetery beautiful the many broken limbs and branches need to be picked up and hauled away. If you can help, with an hour here or there, it would be very much appreciated. Robbie's wagon is waiting to be loaded. For more information, please call Verna @ 853-2701

Sun 26 May, 7.00 p.m. – Music Evening – The Gordon Memorial United Church will be hosting a music evening on Sunday May 26^th at 7.00 p.m.

May 30, 7.00 p.m. – The Feast of the Ascension – Your prayers are requested for The Feast of the Ascension in the Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax, NS at 7.00 p.m. The Reverend Dorothy Miller, The Reverend Bonnie Skerritt and The Reverend Nichola Fish Cumine will be ordained priests and Benjamin Lee, Taunya Dawson and Douglas Beck will be ordained (Transitional) Deacons.

Tue 11 Jun, 11.30 a.m. – Olive Bryanton – An invitation to attend UCW to hear guest speaker Olive Bryanton followed by pot luck lunch.

Sun 14 Apr - 4:00 p.m., Prime Time: All Anglicans and our friends are invited to St. Paul’s Church, Charlottetown to hear Archbishop Fred Hiltz speak about his 12 years as Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. A reception will follow.

Sun 14 Apr – Easter Memorial Donations – Anyone wishing to submit an Easter Memorial Donations for their loved ones then please feel free to put them in the collection plate or to Raigh Callbeck. A notice will be placed in the bulletin on Easter Sunday.

Sun 14 Apr, 10.30 p.m. – Preparation for Holy Week – If anyone is able to help get the St. Peter’s Hall ready for Holy Week we will be doing this after the church service this Sunday.

Thu 18 Apr - Phillips Residence, 1.30 p.m. All are welcome.

Thu 18 Apr – Maundy Thursday Service – Maundy Thursday Services are at 4.00 p.m. at St. Luke’s and 7.00 p.m.  at St. Peter’s.

Fri 19 Apr – Good Friday Liturgy – The Good Friday Liturgy takes place at 11.00 a.m. at St. Peter’s and 2.00 p.m. at St. Luke’s.

Sat 20 Apr, 10.00 a.m. – Preparation for Easter – We would appreciate any help in decorating the church for Easter, We will be doing this on Saturday Apr 20 at 10.00 a.m. Many hands make light work and enjoys a friendly get together.

Combined Service at St. Peters Alberton, March 31st

The combined service will now take place at St Peter’s Church in Alberton due to the hall not being available at St. Luke’s. The service will remain a combined service at 10.30 a.m. Please pass this info on to everyone you may know as some people do not receive the bulletin or are not on my distribution list.

Tue 5 Mar, 1.30p.m. – Hospice Grief Support Group – Hospice Grief Support group, Summerside. This 6 week program runs on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3:30, starting March 5th in the Marguerite Bourgeoys Centre, 284 Convent Street, Summerside (the old St Mary’s Convent).  This is a closed group, not a drop in, and participants are asked to attend every session to get the full benefit of the program. Please call Liz to register on 902-438-4231.

Jeanie Lee Oulton – The morning of January 30, 2019, surrounded by loving family and friends, along with the prayers of so many beyond her hospital room, Jeanie Lee Oulton peacefully passed into the joy of her Lord. Thank you to so many people, near and far, who carried the family with their prayers and who made the adventure of their life together so rich and beautiful. God bless Michael, Thomas, Sarah and Charles.
