The people of the Parish of Alberton-O'Leary help one another and the people in our community. Call on us if you need help. We are all neighbours in God's eyes. As a Christian community we strive to live out our baptismal covenant of proclaiming by word and example the good news of God in Christ, seeking and serving Christ in all persons, loving neighbour as self, and working for justice, peace and dignity amoung all people. This we do, with God’s help.

Christian Healing. Sunday May 15th Bulletin.
God heals. Jesus won the victory over death and sin and sickness and pain when he willingly died on the cross. Jesus did this out of great love for us and in obedience to His Father whom he loved and respected more than we can imagine. Scripture tell us that healing is a promise from God. Christian healing comes from God through believers who pray with and for others. At the International Order of St. Luke Fredericton Chapter Healing Mission last week Rev Andrew and Janet heard Rev. Jack Sheffield and his wife Anne Marie from Austin Texas talk about "Entering an Atmosphere of Heaven and the Miraculous". In essence they meant that the healing power of God comes through us when we praise, worship and pray in a faithful way; that God's miraculous healing comes when we are faithful and obedient and believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is here and now. When we totally give our hearts and minds and spirits to God through praise and prayer we can connect with God and in the Holy Spirit become vessels through which His Heavenly and miraculous healing can take place. We may need to identify and remove barriers to healing that are in our lives (sin or trauma). Healing is an ongoing process in our lives. Since God created all things it is true that doctors, medicine, therapy, exercise and nutrition are all part of how God heals today. God created us as spiritual beings; God's Heavenly creations living in physical form for a time. Guess that is why laughter is still the best medicine going!
