Bread for March, April and May is at the back of the church. Please pick one
up.

– Notice to patients of Dr. Filza Naveed – Dr. Naveed has resigned from her
Family Practice at the Alberton Health Centre effective March 16, 2017. Health PEI is actively recruiting for a full
time physician. Patients will continue to remain part of the Alberton
Health Centre and have access to all Primary Care services.

25th 7:00 p.m. – Revival Prayer Meeting at Elmsdale
Church of the Nazarene – Christians from various denominations are gathering the last
Saturday of each month to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the
Congregations and Christians of West Prince and for a spiritual awakening among
non-Christians in our area. Let us heed the words of the Holy Spirit
through the apostle Paul, when he writes, Romans 12:11-12, “11 Do not
be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope,
be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
*April 7th – Spring is in the Air Gala Dinner – The
PEI Women’s Institute 2017 Spring is in the Air Gala Dinner will be held Friday
April 7th at Red Shores in Charlottetown. Proceeds will go to
Western Hospital in Alberton and Community Hospital in O’Leary. The event
includes live and silent auctions with a surf and turf buffet. Tickets are $75
each and available from Jean Cahill at (902) 853 2884 or the Women’s Institute
Office at (902) 368 4860. Tax receipts are available for a portion of the
tickets.
*April 9th –
Holy week is now upon us and we are looking for volunteers to help get St.
Peter’s Church Hall ready for Holy Week. We will be doing this after the church
service on April 9.
*April
10th –
Holy Week Services will be held at St. Peter’s Church at 12:05 pm Monday April
10 to Thursday April 13 with a soup following the 20 minute service. The
schedule for hosting families is:
Monday
– Anglican; Tuesday
– United; Wednesday
– Nazarene; Thursday
– Roman Catholic
*April 13th –
We are now accepting Easter Memorial Donations at St. Peter’s, in memory of
Loved ones. Donations go toward the Memorial Fund and to help decorate the
church with flowers.
