Combined Parish Service at Holy Trinity Church, Alma

     On Sunday past we had a great service at Holy Trinity with near a full church.  There are two special services held here every summer.  Following the service we had a potluck lunch in the church!

      Rev. Andrew officiated the service with assistance from Lay Reader Jan Cox.  The music was provide by David Barbour.

Combined Parish Service at Holy Trinity

     The Parish held its annual summer Combined Parish Service at Holy Trinity Church, Alma on Sunday past.

      Below:  A Christ Candle donated in honour of Edna Trainor on celebrating her 90th birthday in June 2013 was dedicated during the service.  Edna was born in the area and came to Holy Trinity in her youth and through the years.

     There was a nice congregation of parishioners from around the Parish - we also welcomed former Parish Rector, Fran Boutilier (1997-2002) and folks visiting from Ottawa.

     Following the service a potluck lunch was held at the Jeffery Homestead.

Combined Service & Baptisms at Holy Trinity Alma

     A combined parish service was held at Holy Trinity Alma Church on Sunday, August 12th with a good attendance and to witness a family baptism.

     Rev. Andrew officiated; Lay Reader Jan was server; scripture readings were by Bonnie; the organ was played by Davey; and the bulletins prepared by Janet.  Many thanks to all!!

 

    Those baptized were the two Peterson sisters and their young daughters.  This was the first baptism at Holy Trinity Alma since the spring of 1984 when Jennifer Jeffery was baptized here.

Following the service a potluck lunch was served in the church.
