The people of the Parish of Alberton-O'Leary help one another and the people in our community. Call on us if you need help. We are all neighbours in God's eyes. As a Christian community we strive to live out our baptismal covenant of proclaiming by word and example the good news of God in Christ, seeking and serving Christ in all persons, loving neighbour as self, and working for justice, peace and dignity amoung all people. This we do, with God’s help.

Thought for the Week
Romans 10: 9-10. If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Jesus is Lord was the earliest Christian confession of faith probably used at baptisms.
Jesus Lives!

The 5 Point 30 Day Challenge
Have you tried The 5 Point 30 Day Challenge for Spiritual growth suggested by Bishop Sue when she visited here June 5th? There are copies of the Challenge at the back of the churches and on the bulletin boards. Try just 1 point if 5 points is too much of a challenge right now. Let’s see if we can report progress to the Bishop in September!
